What is RAID-TP?

Last modified date: 2018-03-02

RAID Triple-parity (TP) is a specialized disk array mode for ES NAS. As RAID-TP is triple parity (accommodates up to three drive failures) it provides greater data protection than RAID 6 (double parity, accommodates up to two drive failures).

When creating storage pools, you can consider using RAID-TP as the RAID type.
