How to Use NordVPN on QuRouter Using OpenVPN
This tutorial explains how to use NordVPN on QuRouter using an OpenVPN connection.
Downloading NordVPN Server Information
The first step is to download an OpenVPN configuration file. These files are used to configure QVPN to access the NordVPN server that best meets your needs.
- Under Adjust server preferences, specify a country.
The country display updates.
- Click Download Config.
NordVPN downloads the OpenVPN configuration file to your computer.
Creating an OpenVPN Connection in QuRouter
The next step is to configure the OpenVPN QVPN connection profile settings on QuRouter using the file you downloaded earlier.
With the QVPN client service, you can remotely connect the router to VPN servers using the OpenVPN protocol.

When adding an OpenVPN connection, an OpenVPN configuration file is required to establish the connection.

To enable QVPN client service, ensure that you disable QVPN server service and QuWAN service.
- Click Add Profile.
The Create an OpenVPN Connection window appears.
- Configure the OpenVPN connection profile.
