Why is The S3 Sleep Option not Available When There are SED SSD used in the Storage Pool?

Last modified date: 2022-06-24

Applied models:

  • All NAS Series

Applied Firmware:

  • 4.4.1 and above

This is due to the SED SSD Storage Pool does not support the S3 Sleep function. Thus if there are SED pools created on the NAS, the S3 Sleep function would be disabled. Removing the SED pool would restore the S3 Sleep function.
