Mac computers cannot connect to the LDAP server in QTS 4.3.3 or later. How can I resolve this problem?

For security reasons, the LDAP server in QTS version 4.3.3 or later requires authentication. However, macOS will not send any LDAP authentication information.

To work around this issue, you can disable LDAP server authentication on the NAS:

On the NAS, go to “Control Panel” > “Network & File Services” > “Telnet / SSH” and select “Allow SSH connection”.
Connect to the NAS using an SSH client such as PuTTY.
Log in as admin.
Run the following command to disable LDAP authentication:
/sbin/setcfg "LDAP Server" "Require Authc" "FALSE"
Run the following command to restart the LDAP server:
/etc/init.d/ldap_server.sh restart
