How to add IPMI Devices to QRM+
Users can select from the list of discovered devices and click the "Add Device to QRM+" button to add these devices to QRM+.
Users of IPMI devices must provide the administrator username and password to allow QRM+ to establish an IPMI connection.
Follow these steps to add an IPMI device to QRM+
Step 1: Select the devices to add from the list of discovered devices.
Step 2: Click the "Add Device to QRM+" button.
Please note: Devices can be added from the device list screen without waiting for the scan to finish.

Step 3: Select the devices to be added on the device list screen.

Step 4: Enter the administrator's User ID and Password for the IPMI device to be added and click "OK".

Step 5: Click "Add selected devices".

Step 6: Click "Finish" to see the installation status from the device list.


IPMI devices can also be added manually to QRM+ by using the following method.
Go to the "All Devices" section on the left-hand side.
Step 1: Click the "Add Device to QRM+" button.

Step 2: Select "You know exactly which device you want to manage" and click "Next".

Step 3: Select "Servers with IPMI" and click "Next".

Step 4: Enter the IP address, administrator's User ID and Password of the IPMI device and click "Add".

Step 5: Confirm the addition of the device by clicking "Yes".

Step 6: Click "Close" to see the installation status on the device list.
