Taipei, Taiwan, April 30, 2014 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. today announced that Qmobile, the mobile app that enables remote access & management of multimedia files on a Turbo NAS, will be discontinued in order to focus on developing new apps for a better & more specialized mobile experience. “Mobile access to files & media is becoming increasingly popular for Turbo NAS users, and in order to devote our resources to developing high-quality specialized apps to meet their demands, we regret that we have to discontinue the Qmobile app,” said Ken Cheah, product manager of QNAP.
