What should I do if the web UI is slow to respond?

Solution

Log in to your NAS as an administrator and go to Control Panel > System > Resource Monitor.

  1. Click Processes, and then enable Group by Application.
  2. Sort the processes by "CPU usage" or "Memory" and see which process uses the most CPU and memory resource.
  3. Go to Control Panel > App Center.
  4. Disable the related apps found at step 2 and check if the web UI is still slow.
  5. If the CPU and memory usage is not high in "Resource Monitor" and the web UI is still slow, open your web browser in incognito mode or clean the browser cache and check again.
