Why can't other DLNA devices on my network discover my NAS DLNA server?

UPnP uses multicasting to broadcast packets across your network, but some routers don't support multicasting or block UPnP functionality by default.

To resolve this issue, make sure that UPnP and multicasting is enabled on your router. If your router doesn't support these features, you may need to use another router on your network.
