What should I do if I'm experiencing the NAS unexpected Reboots/System Hang?
Applicable Products:
- All NAS series
If you are experiencing NAS unexpected reboots/system hang, follow the procedures below to resolve the issue.
Check the memory module installed on the NAS.
-
If you changed the memory modules, replace the memory modules with the original one shipped with the NAS
Note: Use only QNAP memory modules to maintain system performance and stability. For NAS devices with more than one memory slot, use QNAP modules with identical specifications.
Important: Using unsupported modules may degrade performance, cause errors, or prevent the operating system from starting.
