QNAP Notification Center to Discontinue Support for Skype Instant Notifications
Taipei, Taiwan, April 30, 2025 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. announces that, in response to Microsoft®'s discontinuation of Skype instant messaging support (effective May 5, 2025), QNAP Notification Center will also end support for Skype instant notifications. The Skype notification feature will be officially removed accordingly.
After this change, users will no longer be able to receive NAS notifications via Skype. We recommend updating your notification settings to alternative methods, such as Email, SMS, or real-time messaging platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack via Qmiix, to continue receiving important system alerts.
