Overview

Some users have reported performance degradation on TS-x73A series NAS devices after updating to QTS 5.2.5 Build 3145. This may present as slower system response or reduced network throughput. QNAP has resolved the issue in QTS 5.2.5 Build 3162, which is now available for download from the official QNAP website.

Solution

Users currently running Build 3145 are advised to upgrade to Build 3162 to restore optimal performance.
Update instructions:
1. Visit the QNAP Download Center.
2. Select your NAS model (e.g., TS-473A, TS-673A, TS-873A).
3. Download QTS 5.2.5 Build 3162.
4. Go to Control Panel > Firmware Update on your NAS to upload and install the firmware manually.
