Explanation

You can control who can access the contents and what actions they can perform by configuring permission settings for each file or folder. You can grant either Can view or Can edit permission to a QNAP ID on the user list. You can also change the sharing permission between Anyone with the link and Only invited QNAP ID.

If a file has already been shared with Anyone can view permission and the owner re-shares the file with Anyone can edit permission, the previous permission setting will be overwritten. For example, if the owner shared File_A.pdf with Anyone with the link can view permission and then re-shared it with Anyone with the link can edit permission, anyone with the previous link will now have Can edit permission.

To stop sharing the selected item with a specific QNAP ID, click the X icon next to the permission option. Please remember to click Save to apply your changes.
