Uploading HEIC files
You can use the HEIC file upload setting to specify how Qfile Pro handles HEIC files:
- JPEG: Qfile Pro converts the HEIC to JPEG when uploading
- HEIC: Qfile Pro uploads the raw HEIC file (no conversion)
- HEIC & JPEG: Qfile Pro converts the HEIC to JPEG, and uploads the raw HEIC file and JPEG file (two files in total)
The HEIC file upload setting is available when uploading files or configuring automatic uploads:
You can also go to File Transfer Settings and set the HEIC file upload setting for all file transfers:
Warning
When sharing files from external apps to Qfile Pro for uploading, Qfile Pro cannot convert the HEIC files. To ensure all your HEIC files are converted, please upload the HEIC files directly using the Qfile Pro app.
