QNAP Introduces QDA-SA2 6Gbps SATA to SAS Drive Adapter for Dual Controller Windows/Linux Servers and Enterprise ZFS NAS
Taipei, Taiwan, September 5, 2019 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. today added the QDA-SA2 6Gbps 2.5-inch SATA SSD to 3.5-inch SAS drive adapter to the QDA family. The newly released QDA-SA2 is designed for dual controller Windows®/Linux® SAS servers and QNAP Enterprise ZFS NAS.
The QDA-SA2 drive adapter allows installing a 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbps SSD in a 3.5-inch SAS drive bay on dual controller servers and QNAP Enterprise ZFS NAS, enabling SAS dual-port capacity on the SATA drive to ensure a high-availability and fault tolerant enterprise storage environment. Users can replace an expensive SAS drive with an affordable high-performing SATA SSD to meet various storage demands and budget requirements.
