How do I reset my switch to default factory settings using the reset button on the switch?

Overview

If you configured your switch incorrectly and you are unable to access the QSS interface to reset the switch, you can perform a hard reset to either reset the password or restore the switch to its default settings.

Answer

Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
Power on the switch.
Locate the reset button on the device.
Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.

The default factory settings are restored and the switch system status LED turns green.
