QES 2.0.0 build 20181030

2018-11-07

Compatibility

  • ES1640dc/ES1640dc v2

Fixed Issues

  • Some WORM options were not displayed when the display language was set to Polish.
  • QES would not start rebuilding a degraded storage pool if disks were replaced while the NAS was powered off.
  • Enabling the Snapsync server fails if port trunking is configured.
  • The LEDs on the front panel displayed nothing when the NAS was powered on in an uninitialized state.
  • It was not possible to search domain groups for groups with non-English names.
  • QES failed to connect to an AD server after changing the AD domain's administrator password.
  • Users were unable to see newly added domain users and domain groups after clicking refresh on the shared folder permissions screen.

Enhancements

  • Increased the maximum number of iSCSI sessions to 256 per target, 512 per controller.
  • Improved the UI for the "SMB Path" and "NFS Path" section of shared folder properties.
  • Modified the time format in the dump log so that it's easier to search for a specific time.
  • Modified the dump log's directory name and split the output into subfolders for easier troubleshooting.
  • Added "Unsupported SPF+ Module" warning notification.
  • Users in China can now download QES firmware updates from the domain "qnap.com.cn".
  • When configuring Clickatell SMS notifications, you can now choose between Clickatell's old or new API (their API changed in November 2016).
  • You can now restrict which versions of TLS QES supports for extra security.
  • Added ifstat and iperf commands to the command line interface (CLI).
