How to add a Gmail account in QmailAgent by changing Gmail security settings
Google’s strict security settings caused by the enforcement of API Services User Data has made Gmail incompatible with older versions of QmailAgent and Google OAuth. As a result, Gmail security settings need to be edited to add a new Gmail account or use an existing Gmail account in QmailAgent. To enable this feature, you need to install the latest QmailAgent 2.3.1 version (or later), enable the Less Secure App Access option in your Google Account, and then enable the IMAP option in your Gmail account.

1.1 Log into your Google Account.
1.2 Select Security.
1.3 Go to Less secure app access.
1.4 Enable Turn on access (not recommended).
2.1 Log in to your Gmail account.
2.2 Go to Settings.
2.3 Select Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
2.4 Go to IMAP Access.
2.5 Click Enable IMAP.
3.1 Go to QmailAgent webpage.
3.2 Enter your Gmail account details.
Result: Your Gmail account has been added to QmailAgent.
