Answer

In a high-availability (HA) environment, you can configure scheduled shutdowns using the Power Schedule feature just like in standalone mode. The system will shut down both nodes simultaneously according to the configured schedule.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the active node.
    Note

Scheduled shutdowns can only be configured from the active node and will apply to both nodes of the cluster.

  2. Go to Control Panel > System > Power > Power Schedule.
  3. Select Enable schedule.
  4. Click Add.
The Add Power Schedule window opens.
  5. Configure and add the schedule.
    1. Next to Power action, select Shutdown.
    2. Next to Schedule, select the desired frequency.
    3. Next to Start time, specify the shutdown time.
    4. Click Apply.
The Add Power Schedule window closes. The system adds the schedule.
  6. Click Apply.
The system enables the shutdown schedule.
Both nodes in the HA cluster will shut down according to the configured schedule.
Note
  • Make sure no critical tasks are running during the scheduled shutdown time. We recommend configuring shutdowns during low-peak hours.
  • We recommend testing a shutdown first during maintenance hours.
