If your QVPN client is unable to establish a connection to the QuWAN QBelt VPN server, a firewall positioned in front of the router or a router operating behind NAT might be obstructing communication.

Recommendation

QNAP recommends configuring a port forwarding rule on the firewall to direct incoming UDP traffic on port 5533 towards the QuWAN QBelt VPN server. This ensures that the VPN server receives the necessary packets to initiate and maintain the connection.
