Why does Qphoto save every photo when recording time-lapse videos?

Last modified date: 2023-05-22

Applicable Products

Qphoto, Photo Station

By default, Qphoto saves the individual frames of time-lapse videos as a separate photo file. This allows you to make adjustments, such as the time-lapse speed, before recreating the time-lapse videos later in Photo Station. You can stop Qphoto from saving individual photos for each frame of the time-lapse video, but you won't be able to recreate the videos later.

  1. Open Qphoto.
  2. Go to Shared Photos, then tap the camera icon.
  3. Go to Camera Settings > Auto Time-lapse.
  4. Disable Save original photos.
    Note
This setting may also be titled Save as burst photos in older versions of Qphoto.
