How do I assign IP addresses from the same subnet to all the LAN ports on a QHora router?

Procedure

  1. Log in to QuRouter.
  2. Go to Network > Physical Interface Settings.
  3. Click LAN.
  4. Disable all LAN ports that are not currently connected to client devices.
    Note
    If your client PC is connected to LAN port 2 of the QHora-322 router, disable LAN ports 3 to 6 and 10G LAN ports 1 to 3. This assumes all other ports are unused.
  5. Go to Network > Bridge Settings.
  6. Click Add Network Bridge.
    The Bridge Settings window appears.
  7. Specify an interface name between 1 and 64 characters.
  8. Enter a description for the interface.
  9. Specify an MTU value between 576 and 9000.
  10. Select all available interfaces from the list.
  11. Click .
    QuRouter adds the interfaces to the bridge connection list.
  12. Configure the IPv4 address assignment settings.
    SettingUser Action
    IP addressSpecify a fixed IP address.

    Examine your network setup for guidance on how to best configure these settings.
    Subnet MaskSpecify the subnet mask used to subdivide your IP address.
  13. Optional: Select Enable Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
  14. Configure DHCP server settings.
    SettingUser Action
    Start IP addressSpecify the starting IP address in a range allocated to DHCP clients.
    End IP addressSpecify the ending IP address in a range allocated to DHCP clients.
    Lease timeSpecify the length of time that an IP address is reserved for a DHCP client. The IP address is made available to other clients when the lease expires.
    DNS serversConfigure the DNS server settings.
    • Automatic: Use the same IP address assigned for the fixed IP address.
    • Manually: Manually configure the DNS server IP addresses.
    Note
    QNAP recommends specifying at least one DNS server to allow URL lookups.
    Reserved IP Table
    1. Click Add to reserve an IP or MAC address.
    2. Specify the following:
      • Device name
      • IP address
      • MAC address
    3. Click .

QHora router creates a single subnet for all LAN ports and restarts the DHCP service. After applying the configuration, confirm that all LAN port IP addresses belong to the same subnet mask.
