QNAP Discontinues Surveillance Station and QVR Face Link, Shifts Focus to Developing Next-gen Smart Surveillance Solutions
Taipei, Taiwan, June 27, 2024 - QNAP® Systems, Inc. today announced that from July 1, 2024 Surveillance Station and QVR Face Link will no longer be available from the App Center. Software updates and technical support for Surveillance Station and QVR Face Link will also cease from this date. The discontinuation will allow for additional resources to be committed to developing next-generation smart surveillance solutions.
Notes
- Surveillance Station or QVR Face Link can still be used if you download them before July 1, 2024. For enhanced security, you should only use them within an intranet environment.
- Recommended alternatives:
For attaining optimized surveillance solutions, Surveillance Station users can switch to using QVR Elite; QVR Face Link users can switch to using QVR Face Insight.
