QNAP Releases the QVR AI Pack License to Empower AI-powered Event Search and HDMI Local Display
Taipei, Taiwan, April 15, 2021 - QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading computing, networking, and storage solution innovator, today launched the QVR AI Pack license, allowing users to empower their NAS with QVR Smart Search (video searching) and QVR Smart Client (HDMI output) features. Users can quickly and easily search for event recordings within a specified time in the QVR Smart Client or QVR Pro Client interface, greatly improving surveillance event management efficiency.
QVR Smart Search AI video search can run directly on the surveillance server without impacting system performance. It features motion detection on video recordings by querying within a specified time, area, and sensitivity. QVR Smart Client allows users of NAS with HDMI output to directly view surveillance footage by connecting the NAS to an HDMI display - no separate computers required. Smart Search can also be used on the QVR Smart Client, with search results displayed on the timeline.
“The QVR AI Pack helps surveillance personnel eliminate the need for manual video searching. With AI-powered search, users can efficiently and accurately search through hundreds of hours of video recordings from hundreds of cameras to find specific events, greatly shortening the event response time,” said Emma Lin, Product Manager of QNAP.
Note: QVR AI Pack only supports QNAP NAS running QVR Pro and QVR Pro appliances. NAS running QVR Elite will be supported from Q2 2021.
