QNAP updates its 7-in-1 Mobile NAS QGenie with File Station Lite and FTP Server
Taipei, Taiwan, 2, February 2015 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. announced the release of firmware v3.2.0 for the QGenie Mobile NAS, adding File Station Lite and supporting FTP servers for remote access and for faster file transfers.
“We are pleased to introduce File Station Lite for QGenie. It provides a simple way for users to upload, download, and share a large number of files to and from their QGenie,” said Hanz Sung, product manager of QNAP, adding “File Station Lite is a great utility for easily managing the files on a QGenie from a web browser, and by adding this new feature we hope that every QGenie user can take full advantage of its file management to enhance their digital life.”
Besides File Station Lite, QGenie now supports FTP server functionality to provide a new way to transfer files between QGenie and desktop computers by using FTP applications such as FileZilla.
