Describe the standard boot procedure for ES NAS.
After installing drives and other devices, connect the network and power cables. Next, remove the protective cover from the handle on the front panel's right side. There is a display on the front panel's right handle.
During startup, the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 will appear sequentially on the display to indicate the startup status of the controllers on the left and right. In the last startup stage, the system will perform a HDD self-test. During this time, the fan will run at full speed for approximately 2 seconds, and may produce a rather loud sound. This is normal behavior.
When the HDD self-test is complete, the front-panel display will show “00”. The four LED indicators on the bottom-left corner of the rear of the controllers will light up in green, indicating that startup is complete and both controllers are working normally.
