Is it Possible to Reduce the Number of Disks in a RAID Group?

Once the RAID group is configured, it is not possible to reduce the number of disks in it (outside of spare disks).
If you want to remove one or more disks, you may:
-
Backup data outside of the RAID
-
Remove the volume and storage pool
-
Configure a new storage pool/volume with less disks
-
Copy the data back to the new volume.
