Challenge

Retrieval was extremely difficult, and files were at risk of being lost. In addition, technicians could not access critical historical materials stored back at the office in real time while debugging on-site during business trips, and cross-department collaboration was also constrained by low transmission efficiency.

Yajiu Technology deployed a high-performance TS-h1277AXU-RP as its core storage, leveraging its powerful CPU and network card to handle high-concurrency access. The SMB Multichannel protocol significantly boosted cross-device sharing speeds for design drawings and video files. At the same time, a TS-873A was configured to use SnapSync (snapshot replication) for real-time backup of critical data to a secondary device. Combined with the Qsync automated backup tool and built-in remote access features, this established a comprehensive "local storage – automated backup – remote office" data management framework. Employees no longer need to worry about losing files on their computers; even if they forget to bring their work laptop, they can directly access the NAS to retrieve already backed-up data, greatly enhancing the flexibility of mobile work.

Result

After the solution was deployed, the company achieved centralized, secure management of hundreds of terabytes of data, eliminating the need to repeatedly provision and migrate portable hard drives and USB flash drives for each employee, and significantly reducing storage costs.
