Compliance Mode, also known as Write-Once-Read-Many (WORM), is a feature on myQNAPcloud Storage that allows users to store files using a model that prevents them from being deleted or overwritten for a fixed amount of time. You need a valid license to create a WORM folder. When you enable WORM, versioning is also enabled to allow for modifications to files while retaining older versions. This ensures that files stored in a WORM-enabled folder remain immutable until the retention time ends. Once enabled, a WORM folder cannot be modified or deleted until the retention time ends.
