This update introduces Security Center, a proactive security application that monitors Cloud NAS file activities and defends against ransomware threats. Additionally, QuTScloud c5.2 provides extensive optimizations, streamlining operations and management for a more seamless user experience.

QuTScloud Cloud NAS revolutionizes enterprise data storage and management. By deploying a QuTScloud image on virtual machines, businesses can flexibly implement Cloud NAS on public cloud platforms or virtualization environments. With a subscription-based pricing model starting at just US $4.99 per month, users can allocate resources efficiently and optimize costs.

Key Features in QuTScloud c5.2:

• Support for OpenSSL LTS 3.0.9:Long-term support version. Ensures the security of network communications.
• Security Center for ransomware protection: Actively monitors file activities, automatically executing protective measures—such as backup or blocking—when suspicious file behavior is detected. This reduces the risk of ransomware attacks, cyber threats, or accidental data loss.
• Kernel Mode SMB Daemon acceleration technology: Enhances SMB transfer performance on Cloud NAS.
• Flexible backup/restore of system settings: Users can now back up system settings, including network configurations and access permissions. During restoration, they can selectively restore specific components, such as permissions or network settings, for greater flexibility.
• Saved app installation list: Users can upload a list of installed applications to myQNAPcloud. This feature enables quick reinstallation of apps when migrating to a new Cloud NAS platform or managing multiple Cloud NAS instances, saving time and effort.
• Simplified AD domain login: Once Cloud NAS is joined to an Active Directory (AD) domain, domain users can log in using their domain credentials without needing to manually input the AD domain name.

QuTScloud delivers near-identical services as QTS, providing users with the same intuitive experience as a physical QNAP NAS. The built-in App Center offers a wide range of free and premium apps, unlocking even greater potential for Cloud NAS deployments. Key features include, but are not limited to:
