Bug fix

  • Android: Fixed "TasUdpManagerService" error while using Android.
  • Android: Prevents repeatedly creating the same dialogue box when you select "Turn off Android" and "Reboot Android".
  • Android: Added some missing strings to the UI.
  • Android: Fixed an issue that would allow invalid IP addresses in settings.
  • QTS: Fixed an issue that would prevent volumes from being removed and hard drives from being re-partitioned.
  • QTS: Corrected an issue where the Storage Manager would display incorrect information.
  • QTS: Fixed issues when detecting hard drives that have previously been used with a QNAP NAS.
  • QTS: Fixed an issue that would cause the AC power recovery settings to not be applied.

Enhancement

  • QTS: Reduces system resource usage when generating thumbnails.

Known Issue

  • Android: Audio & Video desync issue when decoding via passthrough to an A/V receiver.

Notice

  • Please plug in a keyboard and mouse to the TAS if you plan to setup using HDMI output.
  • Android(TM) is enabled by default. You can disable/enable it by pressing and holding theUSB copy button for 6 seconds.
  • When you connect USB storage to the TAS, Android will create two folders ("Android" and "obb") on it.
  • Pre-installed Google Apps may not work if Google Services are blocked by your firewall.
