Important Notes

  • QuTS hero does not support downgrading from h5.1.x to h5.0.1 or earlier. Downgrading firmware can be risky. Please make sure you fully understand and accept the risks if you decide to downgrade your firmware.
  • This version is released in a staged rollout, which means we initially release this version to a small portion of users and then gradually reach more users over time.

Security Updates

  • Applied multiple security updates to further enhance system security.

New Features

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed an issue in myQNAPcloud where after logging in with a QNAP ID and enabling AMIZ Cloud Agent but without joining the NAS to an organization, AMIZ Cloud Agent would show an "Abnormal" status and users could not see the NAS in AMIZ Cloud.
  • Resolved an issue where some users could not successfully use Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office to back up an entire computer to the NAS.
  • Addressed an issue in Resource Monitor > Storage Resource > Disk Activity, where after selecting an enclosure, instead of showing only the disks on the selected enclosure, the page would show all disks on all enclosures.
  • Resolved an issue where after adding a NAS to an AD domain, accessing the domain user list in Control Panel would cause folders to be automatically created for all AD domain users. (Normally, a corresponding user folder should only be created after the domain user logs in for the first time.)
  • Fixed an issue where an SNMP query to the NAS could sometimes return information with unexpected values.
  • Fixed a rare issue in File Station where a file upload task might become unresponsive shortly after it began.
  • Resolved an issue in QuLog Center > Event Logs, where after performing an advanced search using custom keywords and then adding the search as a customized tab, the keywords might change after reopening QuLog Center.
  • Fixed an issue where users could not select disks on a TL-D800C expansion unit when trying to expand a storage pool by adding a new RAID group.

Known Issues

  • After upgrading a Mac computer with an M1 or M2 CPU to macOS 12.6.1, users can no longer connect QNAP NAS devices to the Mac computer via Thunderbolt.
