QNAP Hybrid Backup Sync, HybridMount, and Cloud Drive Sync will no longer have access to Amazon Drive

Taipei, Taiwan, February 9, 2021 – QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading computing, networking and storage solution innovator, today announced that starting from April 30, 2021 its Hybrid Backup Sync, HybridMount and Cloud Drive Sync applications will no longer have access to Amazon Drive. Users can still access data stored on their Amazon Drive through their native services after April 30, 2021. For more information, visit this page.

It is strongly recommended that those using Hybrid Backup Sync to run backup/sync jobs between their QNAP NAS and Amazon Drive make alternative backup/sync arrangements immediately, and to restore/sync their files from Amazon Drive to their NAS.

Those wanting more information on restoring/synchronizing files from Amazon Drive to a QNAP NAS, can read the tutorial.
