Why can't I connect to Google Photos in MARS?

Last modified date: 2024-04-10

Applicable Products

MARS (Multi-Application Recovery Services)

Limitations

When attempting to connect to Google Photos in order to add a Google Photos service in MARS, if you are accessing the NAS using a myQNAPlink then you will not be able to authenticate with your Google account after clicking Connect to Google Photos and consequently you will not be able to create a Goolge Photos service.

Workaround

To add a Google Photos service in MARS, access your NAS via its LAN IP address or via DDNS. After successfully adding the Google Photos service, you can backup/restore your Google Photos in MARS when accessing the NAS via a myQNAPcloud link.
