Why can't I download HTTP or BT files in Download Station?

Symptom

You can't download HTTP or BT files in Download Station.

Recommendation

If your NAS uses a fixed IP address, you should make sure that the correct DNS address was configured.

Log in to the NAS.
Open the Network & Virtual Switch app.
Identify the Virtual Switch associated with NAS.
Click > Configure.
The virtual switch settings wizard opens.
Go to the DNS settings in step 5.
Specify a primary and secondary DNS server.
Apply the changes to the virtual switch.
Note
Contact your ISP to identify your DNS servers or use a public service like Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
