Why can’t I import an address book edited in Excel to KoiMeeter?

Koimeeter address book only supports the .CSV file format. Editing a KoiMeeter address book file in Excel modifies the .CSV file format making it unreadable. QNAP recommends editing KoiMeeter address books in Windows Notepad instead.
