Enhancements

  • When creating or editing a NAS to NAS remote replication job in Backup Station, users can now specify the QNAP operating system running on the destination NAS (next to "Remote site", click "Settings", and then select from the "Server type" drop-down field).

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed an issue where under certain switch settings, port trunking in LACP mode would cause iSCSI connection failures after updating to QES 2.2.0.
  • Fixed a rare issue where after powering on a storage controller it could not connect to the other storage controller.
  • Fixed some issues that caused the NAS to get stuck during the giveback process.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the CIFS service on one of the storage controllers to operate abnormally after a takeover.
  • Fixed an issue where under certain rare conditions the NAS would lose access to an ESXi server over an iSCSI connection.
  • Resolved an issue where users could not delete files in a recycle bin after the files had previously been recovered from the recycle bin and then put back into the recycle bin again.
  • Resolved an issue where files deleted by a domain user via SMB did not appear in the recycle bin.
  • Fixed an issue where users could not successfully migrate a storage pool to another NAS if the disks were removed from their storage controller when the storage controller was in takeover or standby mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the ACL permissions of a shared folder did not match the permission settings applied in File Station.
  • Several minor bug fixes.
