What does each RMA status mean?

Open > Unreceived > (Suspended) > Received > Repairing > shipping

Open
  • The RMA is confirmed and issued by QNAP support staff, but the payment hasn't been done yet.

  • FAQ: Should I ship the power adapter with the QNAP device?

    If the issue is about QNAP device can't boot up, recommend sending the QNAP device with the power adapter.

Unreceived
  • QNAP RMA center hasn't received the faulty QNAP device, please check the status with the carrier or by tracking number.

  • QNAP RMA center may take 1 day to register the faulty QNAP device as received due to overwhelmed items arrive on the same day if you see your QNAP device arrived QNAP but still RMA status shows Unreceived, please check the status again on the next day.

Suspended
  • QNAP RMA center hasn't received the faulty QNAP device for 3 weeks.
  • Once QNAP RMA center receives the faulty QNAP device, the RMA process will proceed.
Received
  • QNAP RMA center has received the faulty QNAP device.
Repairing.
  • The QNAP device is under repair.

  • FAQ: How long does it take to repair the QNAP device?

    Generally, QNAP RMA center would take 5 working days to fix the QNAP device then run a thoughtful test after receiving.

Shipping
  • QNAP RMA center ships the repaired QNAP device back to you.
