QNAP Security Honored Secutech Excellence Award 2014, the Benchmark of Global High-Resolution Surveillance Solution
Taipei, Taiwan, March 26, 2014 – QNAP® Security announced that its 8-bay, 2U rackmount VioStor NVR VS-8148U-RP Pro+ was honored in the Secutech Excellence Awards contest with the NVR Excellence Award. In the NVR contest, 15 NVR products were nominated, and the VioStor NVR VS-8148U-RP Pro+ stood out from the competition and gained recognition from industry experts and customers alike.
Four major evaluation criteria for NVRs included frame rate performance, compatibility with IP cameras, ease of use, and searching capabilities. “QNAP VioStor NVR VS-8148U-RP Pro+ is a powerful IP-based surveillance solution that supports a large storage capacity and smooth Full HD local display,” said Amily Fang, product manager of QNAP Security. “Businesses can enjoy its high performance, high reliability and extensive compatibility with IP cameras to implement medium to large-scale surveillance tasks,” added Fang.

At the contest area in the Secutech Expo 2014, all of the nominated products were presented to demonstrate their performance in the same monitoring scenario. The attending international buyers and security surveillance experts jointly selected the products with the highest performances.
