Why are there no folder thumbnails for folders paired via Qsync?

Root Cause

Folder thumbnails for paired folders may not appear in Windows File Explorer if Space-Saving Mode is enabled in Qsync Client 5.0.0 Windows and later. Space-Saving Mode will by default remove local files while keeping files stored on the NAS. Folder thumbnails cannot be generated if the files contained within the paired folder were removed by Space-Saving Mode.

Workaround

To restore thumbnails for a paired folder, disable Space-Saving Mode for the folder in the Folder Pair Settings page of Qsync Client.
