The procedure for performing an unattended upgrade of the BIOS on a QNAP NAS

Solution
To update the BIOS on your NAS, please follow the steps below:
Go to download.qnap.com, and download the compressed file TS-xxx_BIOS_auto_upgrade-QXXXARXX.zip for your NAS.
Unzip the files from the compressed file into the root directory of the USB drive (FAT32 format).
The folder structure could be the following

--readme.txtAfter shutting down the NAS, insert the USB flash drive into any USB port on the device and power up the NAS.
The following is an explanation of the NAS status LED signals in order:
- Solid green light: The NAS is booting up normally.
- Solid red light: The NAS has booted up from the USB flash drive.
- Flashing red light: The BIOS is being updated.
- Alternating red and green lights and a continuous beeping sound: The BIOS update has been completed.
- Once the BIOS update is complete, remove the power cord and USB flash drive.
- Lastly, plug in the power cord and power on the NAS.
