Why is QVPN on my client device unable to connect to a NordVPN server using my NordVPN account?

Starting June 14, 2023, NordVPN updated its login process for third-party apps and routers, preventing you from using your NordVPN email, username, or password to authenticate your connection.

  1. Log in to your NordVPN account on the NordVPN website.
  2. In the dashboard, click NordVPN.
  3. Navigate to the Manual setup section, and then click Set up NordVPN manually.
    NordVPN sends a verification code to your email address that you use for NordVPN services.
  4. Enter the code to on the verification page.
  5. In the Service credentials (manual setup) section, locate the username and password.
  6. Click the copy icon to copy the credentials.
  7. Open QVPN on your client device.
  8. Click Add Manually.
  9. Enter your NordVPN credentials and other VPN information.
  10. Click Save and then click Connect.
