Why can’t I find QuObjects in the App Center on my NAS?

Overview
QuObjects is an object storage application for QNAP NAS that allows you to create a scalable, high-performance, and S3-compatible storage platform. With QuObjects, you can use the S3 protocol, configure bucket policies, and integrate your NAS with popular backup solutions. Because QuObjects offers advanced features and requires significant system resources, it can only be installed on NAS models that meet specific hardware and software requirements. If your NAS does not meet these requirements, QuObjects will not appear in the App Center.
System requirements
- NAS model:
- All x86-based models (Intel or AMD)
- Selected ARM 64-based models, including:
- TS-x32 series
- TS-x32U series
- TS-x33 series
- TS-x35EU series
- TS-1635AX
- Note: The above ARM 64-based models are not recommended for Veeam Backup due to performance limitations.
- RAM: 8 GB or more recommended
- Operating system:
- QTS 5.0.0 or later
- QuTS hero h5.0.0 or later
- QuTScloud c5.0.0 or later
How do I check if my NAS meets the requirements?
Go to Control Panel → System → System Status → System Information.
Check that your NAS model and firmware version meet the requirements listed above.
On this page, also review the Total Memory value. 8 GB or more is recommended.
If your NAS meets these requirements, QuObjects will be available in the App Center and you can proceed with installation.
