Solution

To maintain system security, URL redirection is disabled by default in newer versions of QTS. This means that you must enter both the NAS IP address and the system port number when accessing the device through the browser. For example, if the IP address was 192.168.1.2 and the system port was 8080, you'd need to enter http://192.168.1.2:8080 into your browser to access the device.

If you prefer to not enter the system port when accessing the device, you must configure QTS using the following process:

  1. Sign in to the device.
  2. Go to Control Panel > General Setting > System Administration.
  3. Enable Allow redirect URLto NAS login page.
  4. Go to Control Panel > Applications > Web server.
  5. Deselect Enable Web server.
