QNAP reminds users to update myQNAPcloud Link to version v2.4.52 or later

Taipei, Taiwan, February 27, 2024 - QNAP® Systems, Inc. has made architecture adjustments and enhanced the security of the myQNAPcloud service. To take advantage of better and more secure remote connections, users are urged to update the myQNAPcloud Link application to version v2.4.52 (or later) and also update QNAP mobile apps to their latest version.

Follow these steps to ensure you have the best connection to myQNAPcloud:

  1. Upgrade myQNAPcloud Link:
Update using the App Center on your QNAP NAS.
  2. Upgrade QNAP mobile apps:
Update using the App Store® or Google Play™.
  3. Upgrade the QNAP NAS operating system to QTS 4.3.3 (or later).

Users should complete these steps as soon as possible to avoid being unable to use the mobile app to connect to NAS devices via myQNAPcloud Link starting from February 29, 2024.

If users are unable to update but still need to establish external network connections, they can adjust their network router settings to partially open Port Forwarding. Please refer to the FAQ.
