QNAP Website and Download Center Ends Support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 Protocols

Taipei, Taiwan, March 31, 2022 - To ensure secure connectivity for our users, QNAP® today announced that the QNAP website and Download Center will stop supporting Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 protocols from June 30, 2022. From this date, any connection using these protocols will no longer work as expected.

Users should ensure that their NAS uses a version of QTS, QuTS hero or QuTScloud that supports TLS 1.2. To ensure the highest level of system security, QNAP recommends that users update their QTS, QuTS hero and QuTScloud systems to the latest version.

Minimum OS version that supports TLS 1.2

  • QTS 4.2.6
  • QuTS hero h4.5.0
  • QuTScloud c4.5.1
