  • QuTS hero now displays SSD status as "warning" when estimated life drops below the threshold.
  • QuTS hero now displays supported bus types for all slots on the NAS.

File Station
  • Users in the administrator group can now manage all shared links.
  • QuTS hero now supports up to 100,000 shared links for files or folders.
Control Panel
  • To enhance device security, QuTS hero now automatically checks SQL Server password and disables the service if users still use the default password.
  • Modified various HTTP header default configurations to enhance device security.
  • Added support for customizing the HTTP response header "Server".
  • QuTS hero now automatically installs recommended firmware updates by default. Administrators can specify a schedule to check for and perform updates.

Fixed Issues

  • Users could not connect to iSCSI LUNs on the NAS from a Windows computer.
  • QuTS hero did not support GPU passthrough on the TVS-h1688x.
  • Users could not restore a shared folder from a snapshot in File Station.
  • QuTS hero would sometimes display unexpected messages about ACL permission conversion after users updated QuTS hero from h4.5.1.1491 to h4.5.1.1582.
  • Administrators could only search for users displayed on the current page of the user list when adding users to the access permission list of a subfolder.
  • File Station could not correctly sort files whose filenames contained Chinese characters.
  • Date and time format in File Station shared links was not consistent with the format selected in Control Panel.
  • Users could not connect to the network when the jumbo frame of a 2.5 GbE network adapter was not set to 1500 bytes.

Other Changes

Storage & Snapshots
  • Moved Remote Disk settings to Storage & Snapshots.
  • To ensure data security, system stability, and storage performance, the maximum number of drives for a single RAID group is now 16 (applicable to RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID TP, and subgroups of RAID 50 and RAID 60). Nevertheless, users can combine multiple RAID groups into a large storage pool that contains more than 16 drives, using RAID 50, RAID 60, or RAID 10 as the RAID configuration. This enhancement will only be applied to new RAID groups. All existing RAID groups and storage systems will not be affected.
