QNAP Introduces Google Plus Page for its Followers
Taipei, Taiwan, February 15, 2012 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. today introduced a Google Plus page for its users and those interested in QNAP's solutions, to ensure seamless communication with its followers.
"Social networking sites have helped us connect with our fans in a casual but efficient way," said Edward Lin, director of marketing at QNAP. "We've noticed that users of different social networking sites have different habits in talking to us, and these are not fully overlapped. By introducing the Google Plus page we hope to have our messages delivered to as many users as we can," added Lin.
In addition to Google Plus, QNAP also runs other popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and a video channel page on YouTube. These sites not only help deliver QNAP's latest news, product reviews and awards to its users, but are also great platforms to run campaigns with rewards to those who participate.
In celebration of the new QNAP Google Plus page, QNAP will give away a free TS-119P II unit to a lucky winner from those who have added QNAP to their Google Plus circle, when the number of followers reaches 1,000. For every additional 1,000 users added to the circle, another TS-119P II winner will be picked randomly, and so forth. The event will end on February 29, 2012 and winners will be announced on March 1, 2012 on the QNAP Google Plus page.
