Why does my Windows server lose its iSCSI or SMB connection to an ES NAS after the NAS performs a high availability takeover?

The cause of the connection failure is that Window’s connection retry time (RetryInterval) is too short. You can extend the iSCSI or SMB connection retry time by running QNAP’s Qutil utility on the Windows server.
