Overview

CPU Hot Add is a feature that allows you to add CPU resources to a running virtual machine. Virtualization Station 3.4 (or later) supports CPU Hot Add for certain operating systems. For details, see the following table.

Important

Before applying any changes to a running operating system that is labeled "partially supported" or not listed in this table, ensure that the architecture of this specific operating system supports adding CPU resources. Different editions of an operating system may have varying degrees of support for CPU Hot Add.
