QNAP offers a 20% discount for AMD Ryzen™-based TS-x77 series NAS to welcome the release of QTS 4.4.1
Taipei, Taiwan, August 13, 2019 – To welcome the release of QTS 4.4.1, leading NAS manufacturer QNAP® Systems, Inc. (QNAP) announced all models of its AMD Ryzen™-based tower NAS TS-x77 series, developed through QNAP’s strategic partnership with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), are now 20% off. Users can purchase a high-performing NAS at an affordable price and enjoy a streamlined NAS experience through the integration of the powerful QTS 4.4.1 with the cost-effective TS-x77 NAS series.
TS-x77 series tower NAS feature a hybrid drive bay design (HDD + SSD), enabling users to create SSD cache or Qtier auto-tiering storage for optimal storage performance. The innovative file-based storage gateway application CacheMount, new for QTS 4.4.1, enables users to mount public cloud storage to NAS. CacheMount also allows users to create cache space, transforming the NAS into a low-latency storage gateway between user’s computers and public cloud space. CacheMount supports multiple file sharing protocols including SMB, NFS, and AFP for connecting the NAS to PC clients, allowing users to seamlessly access cloud-based files from their PC through the NAS storage gateway.
TS-x77 series tower NAS feature multiple PCIe slots for QM2 Expansion Card installation, allowing users to expand M.2 SSDs and 10GbE RJ45 connectivity to achieve 10GbE high-speed connectivity and improve NAS data backup performance. Additionally, the all-new HBS 3 backup utility in QTS 4.4.1 features QNAP’s QuDedup technology for deduplicating backup data at the source, greatly reducing backup and recovery time. With HBS 3, users can experience faster backup times.
The TS-x77 series is powered by AMD Ryzen™ processors with up to 8 cores/16 threads, and up to 64 GB of DDR 4 memory. Equipped with three PCIe expansion slots, the TS-x77 series supports a variety of expansion cards to increase NAS application potential. Robust hardware combined with QTS 4.4.1’s feature-rich applications enables the TS-x77 series to fully satisfy diverse IT requirements.
